When Streets of Beige approached me and asked me to be part of an online exhibition called “The Big Ass Monster Show” it was obvious what the answer was going to be.

The Streets of Beige blog is aimed firmly at lovers of nostalgia, so old cartoons, toys, music, computer games and anything 80’s or 90’s were all on the list of potential subjects for my submission.

The Illustration I came up with was based on Dragonball Z, an animation which I adored when I was younger. I chose to illustrate Shenlong, the Eternal Dragon, and included a Silhouette of the main protagonist for scale.
